It’s summer, we’re heading toward a weekend… Time for some fun. 😁

The central theme of this week was adaptability which we touched on with Context May Be King, but Flexibility Is Queen, and then further explored in Flex Your Buzz.

The Improv Twist

We’re continuing the tone with the same game of flexing, but with an improv twist.

Today, instead of flexing the wording to fit the new context, we’ll be flexing the context to fit the given buzzwords and phrases.

Why would you want to play this?

First of all, it’s hilarious. The game is a mashup of improv, wordplay, and creative thinking.

It encourages you to think on your feet in terms of clarity, adaptability and fluency, not to mention it forces you to repurpose jargon across completely different and unexpected settings.

In addition, it fosters spontaneity, which is a valuable tool if you’re on a mission to gain more confidence and overcome self-consciousness.

This game can be an excellent icebreaker or even a drill element in workshops, team building, and coaching sessions. It can be played 1-on-1 or in groups, in person or online.

It is also highly adaptable so you can make new versions in a jiffy or ad hoc.
