The Older You Are, the Better the Stats

Them: Coaching insights after going out three nights in a row are such a bad idea.

Me: I know. Hold my beer, please!

You know how they say, “The older you are, the wiser you get?”

Well, about that… A while ago, my friend organized a send-off party for her 50^th birthday, where we played a little cheese-and-wine tasting game. Basically, we had to guess the cheese based on its description and then match it with the right wine. There were over a dozen cheeses and four wines. And all that after champagne, a cocktail, and dessert wine.

So this little faux pas in judgement leads me to conclude two things.

#1 You are not wiser; your stats are just better.

You have more experience in making decisions, whose stats, hopefully, swing in favor of good choices.

However, your good stats, common sense, and keen intuition do not stand a single chance against your free will to f🐦things up at any given moment.

And…

#2 You are never too old to make memorable moments and unforgettable regrets.
