What do unicorns dream about?

Oh, I wish they would say!

About ponies and rainbows?

And huge stacks of hay?

 

Are unicorns’ dreams in color?

How I wish they would tell!

Magenta meadows and clovers.

Fuchsia fountains and a well.

 

Do unicorns have nightmares?

Sometimes, they say.

About cotton clouds and cobwebs.

And gigantic mantises that pray.

 

What unicorns dream about

Is not that difficult to see.

For when it comes to dreaming,

They’re no different than you and me.
