Final Edits & Grateful Moments
About ten days ago, I published my second book Cross-Referencing Creativity.
Before I share more about it, I’d like to share some of the fun moments I experienced during the final edits.
These were first published on LinkedIn as a post series. Each mini post is followed by the corresponding screenshots.
I hope you will enjoy them as much as I did.

When you finally decide to tackle the final editing of the Book, but your betas are a Monty Python bunch
That’s only fair because I found one of my earlier messages saying:
“Is the feedback you send me in fact – fedback?”

When they like your book but they hate that they like your book because they don’t like books in general

Me: I’m gonna write a book that will make people question their entire belief system about what skills actually are, what skills they actually have, and how they actually use them. 😏

I published several posts while I was working on the final edits of Cross-Referencing Creativity, most of them about funny or unexpected feedback I got from my first readers.
Apart from those, I also received a number of useful insights into diverse viewpoints on the parts of the book they found particularly engaging, interesting, and relevant.

During the final edits of Cross-Referencing Creativity, I truly enjoyed reading the witty and insightful comments from my early readers, and I’d like to thank them once again for being part of this wonderful journey.
Hearing that the book felt clear, relevant, easy to read, and rich in examples means the world to me. I also loved hearing that it gave words to something people had already sensed or experienced. That kind of feedback is priceless.

Thank you for reading, reflecting, and helping shape this book. ❤️
Also, apologies in advance for what I’ll put you through in the next one! 😇🙃
