This is the third part of the post series about On Repeat games we use…
Sell me that Whumpalumpus – now!

Sell me that Whumpalumpus – now!
I realized yesterday I still haven’t posted anything about the Black Market – Unicorn Edition, so here’s a little glimpse of one of the games we played.
How would you do? 😁
“Sell me Whumpalumpus in seven simple sentences.”
If Whumpalumpus has left you spellbound with sparkling question marks spinning around your head in circles, bear in mind that the participants had to sell Whumpalumpus to a customer who only spoke Slovenian… and under a rotating language-switch restraint.
The game touched on a series of skills such as creativity & improvisation, sales & negotiation, logical & critical reasoning, focus & concentration, as well as different levels of communication, such as pacing and leading, active listening, body language (well… at least what the online version allowed) & facial expressions, observation & responsiveness.
Linguistically speaking, it also blew the cover off a few false friends. (I’m not saying that’s rumeno krilo in Slovenian & Croatian, but I’m also not saying that it’s not.) 👀
In a nutshell, that’s it – your turn! Sell me that Whumpalumpus, now!
